Sorry I am so behind on posting! Thanks so much to everyone and your sweet comments, its so good to hear from you all. I am so sorry I haven't gotten back to everyone, I'm working on it!!! Its a little hard to get anything accomplished with a little one consuming all your time (not that I'm complaining one bit though, I love every second of it). Taiya's Newborn pictures

Our little Taiya is already MORE THAN 3 weeks old!! Time is going by way too fast. She already has grown so much, at her two week check up she was 7 lbs. 14 oz. Travis and I are loving being parents... this little girl has completely changed our lives- we can't imagine life without her now. We feel so blessed to have this little one, we love her sooooooooo much! I have tons of pictures I want to post, but it will take some time for me to catch up. Anyways, we got Taiya's newborn pictures done when she was 1 week 4 days old. Sarah Ward did an great job, she was so patient even after Taiya pooped 3 times and peed about 6 times all over her blankets and props!! Ha. It was a challenge but so worth it. Taiya Belle born August 1, 2009

Taiya Belle was born August 1, 2009 at 1:33 PM. She weighed 7 lbs 5 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. We are absolutely in love with this little girl. I can't even put into words what a miracle she is. We are the luckiest parents in the world. Here are some pictures of our little girl...

39 weeks pregnant, belly pics, nursery pics, 24th of July, and more....

I am horrible at this blogging thing, I swear I am always behind!! And once Taiya gets here it will only be harder!! So sorry, just bear with me. I know everyone just wants to know whats going on... so here are some updates. FINALLY. Ha. First though, I just want to thank everyone for all of their support the last few months. I have the most amazing family and friends in the whole world! Thank you for always checking up on me and always making sure I don't need anything... it has meant so much to me!!! THANK YOU! A lot has happened since my last post, here is a little bit of what has happened...


Trent left on July 1st for the Argentina Buenos Aires North Mission. We are so proud of him and already miss him so much!!!



Our beloved Aunt Vicky passed away on July 12th after a long battle with brain cancer. She has left us with thousands of special memories and the great influence she has had on so many people. We love her so much and she will be very much missed.

Family baby showers...
Both my family and Trav's threw us baby showers. Our families are so supportive and absolutely spoiled us rotten! Thank you so much to everyone. And especially to my mom and trav's aunts for throwing two amazing showers!!! Both nights were so much fun! Here are some pictures from the shower at my parents house- thanks to Lexi for being the greatest little photographer ever! Unfortunately I don't have any pics from my other shower because even through I took my camera I got so caught up in everything going on that I forgot to have anyone take pictures :(

A few weeks ago I got to steal my two favorite kids for a bit... we had a blast going to Wheeler farm, roasting marshmellows, and having a sleepover!



TRAVIS IS HOME!!!!!

I am so so so so so happy that Trav is home! The "plan" was for him to come home about a week before my due date (so on the 23rd) but he surprised me and came home early!! I was just about to go to bed on Thursday, July 16th at my parents house when Trav called. I thought he was just calling to say goodnight but instead he told me that I needed to go home to our house. I was so confused since he is one of the many people that kept telling me I needed to stay at my parents so I wasn't home alone in case I went into labor. So I was obviously really confused with his sudden "okay-ness" of me staying at home. I kept asking why... and he said cause I will be home in about an hour!!! I was SOOOOOOOOO excited and surprised!!! I had absolutely no idea he was coming!!! It was such a good surprise.. thank you thank you thank you trav!!! I guess it means that he loves me... a little bit or something like that :)
