39 weeks pregnant, belly pics, nursery pics, 24th of July, and more....

I am horrible at this blogging thing, I swear I am always behind!! And once Taiya gets here it will only be harder!! So sorry, just bear with me. I know everyone just wants to know whats going on... so here are some updates. FINALLY. Ha. First though, I just want to thank everyone for all of their support the last few months. I have the most amazing family and friends in the whole world! Thank you for always checking up on me and always making sure I don't need anything... it has meant so much to me!!! THANK YOU! A lot has happened since my last post, here is a little bit of what has happened...


Trent left on July 1st for the Argentina Buenos Aires North Mission. We are so proud of him and already miss him so much!!!



Our beloved Aunt Vicky passed away on July 12th after a long battle with brain cancer. She has left us with thousands of special memories and the great influence she has had on so many people. We love her so much and she will be very much missed.

Family baby showers...
Both my family and Trav's threw us baby showers. Our families are so supportive and absolutely spoiled us rotten! Thank you so much to everyone. And especially to my mom and trav's aunts for throwing two amazing showers!!! Both nights were so much fun! Unfortunately I don't have any pics from my other shower because even through I took my camera I got so caught up in everything going on that I forgot to have anyone take pictures :(

A few weeks ago I got to steal my two favorite kids for a bit... we had a blast going to Wheeler farm, roasting marshmellows, and having a sleepover!



TRAVIS IS HOME!!!!!

I am so so so so so happy that Trav is home! The "plan" was for him to come home about a week before my due date (so on the 23rd) but he surprised me and came home early!! I was just about to go to bed on Thursday, July 16th at my parents house when Trav called. I thought he was just calling to say goodnight but instead he told me that I needed to go home to our house. I was so confused since he is one of the many people that kept telling me I needed to stay at my parents so I wasn't home alone in case I went into labor. So I was obviously really confused with his sudden "okay-ness" of me staying at home. I kept asking why... and he said cause I will be home in about an hour!!! I was SOOOOOOOOO excited and surprised!!! I had absolutely no idea he was coming!!! It was such a good surprise.. thank you thank you thank you trav!!! I guess it means that he loves me... a little bit or something like that :)

Okay so we finally decided on what we are naming our little girl...

Uh... yeah. I'm just a little behind. I keep planning on updating our blog but all my little projects keep coming up and so I keep procrastinating it. Little projects being all my random baby projects I keep doing, I think I'm trying to convince myself that I have some talent when it comes to being creative... not really but I'm pretending and having fun doing it! Let's just say baby has more bows then she will ever be able to wear in her lifetime! Ha. And more to come I'm sure! I just can't stop, its addicting and it helps pass the time with Travis gone. Besides I am getting so dang impatient, I just want to meet and hold this precious little girl who's arrival we so looking forward to!!! Oh, and I finished the nursery yesterday!!! I'll post some pictures but Travis has to see it first so it will be a few weeks. Okay so here are some pictures of what we have been up to the past month or two...

1st Baby Shower...
I have the best friends in the entire world!!! I am so lucky! Jess, Steph, Jamie, and Erin threw me the cutest shower ever! Thank you so much you guys! I need to get some of the adorable pictures of the food and decorations.. cause they were amazing! I have so much support from my friends who don't even live close by. Kel flew in that morning from Arizona and Aubrey drove up from St. George!! Thank you so much you guys- it meant the world to have you there! And everyone who came... THANK YOU! We had a blast. It was so nice to spend time with everyone! I love you guys!

Okay so most of you have probably heard me go off about how much I love Baby Steals!!! It is this amazing website that has a steal every day at 9 am on super cute baby stuff. I have gotten some of the cutest stuff at the best prices ever. One of my favorite things I got was a baby car seat cover that I got for less than $20!!! The funny part is I didn't even like it when I saw it online, but when I went in to pick up a couple things for one of my friends, I saw it and fell in love! One of the greatest buys ever! Little Belly... Big Belly! And Easter!

Wow! It's weird looking in a mirror- I almost don't recognize myself! Its so amazing the changes that you go through during pregnancy... the most obvious is your growing tummy! I have seen pregnant women my whole life, but until you have actually gone through it yourself you can't fully understand its miracle! I can feel the baby move inside me all the time now- she especially doesn't like it when I'm laying down on my side. Which makes for an interesting nights sleep when you are only allowed to sleep on your side!!! And she doesn't just wiggle around, she kicks! I am loving every minute of it. I can't wait for Travis to feel the baby move, but the second he touches my belly she stops! What a little tease already- just like her daddy! I am counting my blessings that I haven't really been that sick and have been pretty healthy. My heart goes out to all of the girls that are sick throughout their pregnancy, I can't even imagine. Life is good. I feel so blessed right now! I am getting soooo excited to hold this little one in my arms. Not only are Travis and I enjoying this time, but we also enjoyed getting to spend Easter with both his family and mine. Adorable baby shower gifts...

So I opened a little booth up at the Quilted Bear (145 West 7200 South) that has the most adorable little baby shoes and gorgeous baby blankets. Seriously if you need a cute baby gift- go check it out! It's booth #M16. You can also do special orders of the blankets, which are Gigi Blanki's but my prices are lots less than they sell them for on their website! I also have the original Gigi's which are a hand held "lovey" for toddlers. Rather than carry around a huge blanket every where and constantly trip over it, they can carry around a smaller designer version (without the designer price) that is super plush and silky.
